View Across the Field at Cae Mawr, Anglesey
This photo was taken as a single exposure RAW file at 4:20 pm on the 11th June 2025 and later developed with Luminar Neo. I’ve always found the view of the house and trees across the field bordering the caravan site at Cae Mawr strangely compelling.

Caravanning holiday at Chirk. Finding somewhere different to visit. Shoreside photo at taken at The Mere, Ellesmere, near Wrexham. Problems with photo processing software, On1 Photo RAW 2025 becoming totally unusable. Moving to Luminar Neo and learning its workflow.

This photo was taken as a bracketed set of three exposures at 3pm on the 19th October 2024 and later developed as a HDR blend with On1 Photo RAW 2025. Yes, I’m back using On1 Photo RAW after a six-month hiatus!

Path and Light, Dovedale
I took this photo while Gill and I were on a little walk at the northern end of Dovedale heading south from the pretty village of Milldale. It was taken at 3:10 pm on the 14th September 2024 and later developed from a single RAW file with Pixelmator Pro.

Church, Flowers and Grasses
This is St Tysilio’s Church at Menai Bridge, Anglesey. The image was captured as a single RAW file at 2:50 pm on the 14th June 2024. Later, having had problems with my usual software, I developed the image you see here with Pixelmator Pro.

Footbridge and Fog
This footbridge is located on the path along the western bank of the River Kent between Low Park Wood and Hawes Wood, near Kendal in the Lake District. The photo was captured as a single-exposure RAW file at 2:45pm on Friday the 3rd May 2024 and developed with On1 Photo RAW.

Tree and Light
This photo was taken at approximately 3pm on the 21st September 2023 and developed from a single raw file with On1 Photo RAW. The tree is located at the southern end of Tarn Hows on the opposite side of the path from the tarn itself.
