This photo was taken as a bracketed HDR set at 4:20 pm on the 4th May 2025 and later developed with Luminar Neo. The house is called White Abbey, and I’ve photographed this scene of the stepping stones leading to the house and garden once before – two decades ago!

Path and Light, Dovedale
I took this photo while Gill and I were on a little walk at the northern end of Dovedale heading south from the pretty village of Milldale. It was taken at 3:10 pm on the 14th September 2024 and later developed from a single RAW file with Pixelmator Pro.

Church, Flowers and Grasses
This is St Tysilio’s Church at Menai Bridge, Anglesey. The image was captured as a single RAW file at 2:50 pm on the 14th June 2024. Later, having had problems with my usual software, I developed the image you see here with Pixelmator Pro.

Footbridge and Fog
This footbridge is located on the path along the western bank of the River Kent between Low Park Wood and Hawes Wood, near Kendal in the Lake District. The photo was captured as a single-exposure RAW file at 2:45pm on Friday the 3rd May 2024 and developed with On1 Photo RAW.

Path at Yew Tree Tarn
This is the view of the path heading south on the west shore of Yew Tree Tarn, near Coniston in the Lake District. The photo was taken at 2pm on the 23rd September 2023 and later (much later!) developed from a single RAW file with On1 Photo RAW.

Tree and Light
This photo was taken at approximately 3pm on the 21st September 2023 and developed from a single raw file with On1 Photo RAW. The tree is located at the southern end of Tarn Hows on the opposite side of the path from the tarn itself.
